GUSTO, LEEDS //

We were kindly invited to the launch night of Gusto on Greek Street last month. With it being my first experience in a restaurant of the Gusto chain, I didn't expect the grandiose atmosphere we were greeted with.

With a glass of prosecco we headed to a prime spot where we spent the night chatting, laughing and people watching. The reason for the severe lack of photographs in this post is due to spending more time celeb spotting (hello, Paul Hollywood lookalike and the Pigeon Detectives)

The live band began the night with their version of 'Thrift Shop' and continued to make my night with a jazz rendition of 'Come on Eileen' later on.

We were served some fantastic cocktails and constantly plied with bottles of wine which none of us complained about, in fact, we were rather merry about it... The wine list was superb.

Something else to mention is the brilliance of the staff service. Everyone who offered us drinks, snacks and helped find our way around did it with a smile and class.

From the canap├ęs that were provided, it's difficult to comment on the food fully - those we tried were good albeit very fishy! It's a stunning venue and one I'll definitely be returning to for a meal to experience it fully.

Huge thanks to Gusto for having me for their Leeds launch; you can find your nearest restaurant here.

Have you been to Gusto before?
